There have been hints that Swanson and Azeez could both be on the bench for the game against West Ham.

While Mikel Arteta may not want to put too much pressure on the kids, he knows that they will benefit a great deal from even making the matchday squad.

Players get a feel of what it is to be out with the seniors on a Premier League weekend.

They’re also involved in the pre-game training and give many fans their first glimpse of them on the field.

A number of world class players have first started out as being backups to the first team and some have even had to wait months and even years to make their senior bow.

In the end, it’ll surely be worth it and the Gunners fans should embrace the number of youngsters that are part of the senior squad.

In other Arsenal news, yet another youth attacker may be in line for his first-team debut soon with Alexandre Lacazette injured.
