Brentford set to sign Hull City wonderkid Keane Lewis-Potter - Fabrizio Romano
Brentford are set to sign Hull City forward Keane Lewis-Potter with an announcement expected this week, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Bees have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old for weeks now and recently had a bid of £16m agreed with Hull for the exciting talent.
However, the Italian journalist has now confirmed the deal with an announcement reportedly expected in the coming days.
Romano said: “Brentford are set to sign Keane Lewis Potter from Hull City with an agreement in place between clubs, and personal terms also agreed.
“Deal expected to be announced this week pending a medical.”
Huge future
In Lewis Potter, Brentford have got themselves one of the hottest properties in the Championship and one of the competition’s biggest talents.
The Bees are acquiring a multi-faceted forward with frightening speed, electric energy, and an ice-cold calmness in front of the goal.
At the tender age of 21, the Hull City youth academy product has averaged 14 league goals a season in the last two years, proving he is more than capable of finding the back of the with regularity.
The England under-21 international has recorded 38 goals and assists in 99 career league games, a record of a goal or assist every 2.6 league games.
With almost 100 league appearances already under his belt across two divisions in England, as well as four appearances for the England under-21 national team, this is a shrewd bit of business from Thomas Frank.
In other news, journalist Zach Lowy has claimed that Anthony Gordon is worth up to £50m.
