Chelsea desperate to beat Liverpool to sign £130m-rated Jude Bellingham - report

Chelsea are reportedly desperate to beat Liverpool in the race to sign the highly-coveted Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

According to the Telegraph, Real Madrid’s interest as well makes this a hotly-contested three-way tussle to sign the 19-year-old.

Bellingham appears all set to go to the World Cup and the list of his suitors is unlikely to reduce by the time.

Big money move

The England international now appears to be the biggest transfer saga of next summer unless a higher-profile player is suddenly coveted by a number of clubs.

Todd Boehly appears keen on bringing the Dortmund man to Stamford Bridge but is facing an unfair battle with the two aforementioned clubs ahead of him in the race.

Liverpool have been admirers of the player for a while and see him as a perfect replacement for Gini Wijnaldum who has struggled at PSG.

Being the hands on operator that he is, Boehly is now believed to have taken it on his own shoulders to make enquiries over the player with hopes to sign him.

This will be interesting as it remains to be seen if the Reds can manage to outspend the Blues under their new super-rich owners.

Jurgen Klopp will certainly be furious with FSG if they fail to get this deal over the line as he appears to be one of the prime targets for next summer.
