Chelsea duo Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale leave first team squad ahead of potential loans - report
Chelsea have sent both Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale away from the first team squad with loan moves now being possible, according to Adam Newson.
Despite being a full Scottish international, Gilmour has not yet made his mark on the Chelsea team, while the 18-year-old Vale is seeking his first real taste of senior football.
Both players were omitted from Chelsea’s squad for their friendly against Club America on Sunday (17 July), with Newson reporting via Twitter on Monday morning (18 July) that the pair have left the first-team squad.
The duo will link up with the development squad in America for now, but The Sun reported on Monday evening (18 July) that both players are likely to leave on loan.
One starlet that is certain to leave Chelsea on loan is Tino Anjorin, with Newson reporting that a host of Championship clubs are vying for his signature.

Gilmour is an incredibly talented player, as shown by his heroics for Scotland, but his development has taken a hit over the last year.
His loan to Norwich was seen as a way of getting him regular football at club level for the first time, but it did not go as planned.
The Scotsman was dropped by Daniel Farke and even though he was restored to the team by Dean Smith, he failed to impress as Norwich sank to a bottom-place finish.
A move to Everton is possible according to the Glasgow Evening Times, but it is unclear if that link was just made due to his relationship with Frank Lampard or if there is genuine interest.
However, a move to Goodison Park would be ideal for both parties given his need for football and Everton’s financial situation.
Vale is a different story however, after excelling at youth level and making five senior appearances in cup competitions.
He is now looking to make a mark on senior football, with a loan to the Championship looking like his best option after Levi Colwill and Anjorin succeeded at that level last season.
Both Vale and Gilmour are still set for dazzling futures and it is well worth looking out for both next season.
