Chelsea suffer blow in their transfer pursuit of wonderkid Endrick - report
Chelsea have suffered a blow in their transfer pursuit of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, falling behind their rivals in negotiations for the young star, according to the Sun.
Paris Saint-Germain are the only team currently at the table for Endrick, having put an official offer down to tempt the Palmeiras youngster to Ligue 1.
Endrick’s father Douglas admitted that the French giants are the “only club” with an official proposal as things stand, casting doubt over Chelsea’s chances of securing his signature.
“Paris Saint-Germain are the only club that opened negotiations with Palmeiras with an official proposal, as things stand,” said Douglas as quoted by Canal do Nicola.
“There are many club from different countries keen on signing him. PSG have already moved.”

It was always going to be a tough battle to sign Endrick and it seems European juggernauts Paris Saint-Germain currently have the upper hand over Chelsea.
The decision will ultimately come down to the teenager and where he sees the best fit for his future career, a majority of young starlets like himself have taken the path of Ligue 1 or La Liga in the past.
The English Premier League can be a daunting task for any footballer to take on, let alone a 16-year-old who has never played outside of his home country.
And despite being blessed with an abundance of footballing talent, it would be tough for Endrick to come into a Chelsea team and hit the ground running.
So maybe the London outfit is best missing out on this one, there are better options on the market who can do a job here and now rather than the young Brazilian.
