Chelsea table bid to sign Russian teenager Arsen Zakharyan - Italian journalist

Chelsea are reportedly interested in Russian teenager Arsen Zakharyan and have tabled a bid for the Dinamo Moscow ace, according to Italian sports journalist Luca Bendoni.

The 19-year-old attacking midfielder has exploded onto the scene in the Russian League and “is described as one of the best gems in Russia”.

Bendoni has reported on Gianluca Di Marzio’s website that Chelsea are working with his agent to seal a deal for the talented Russian teenager.

Who is Arsen Zakharyan?

Zakharyan may be a name that is unknown to the majority of football fans, but he is a talented young midfielder who has huge potential.

Born in Russia in 2003, Zakharyan joined Dynamo Moscow in 2020, coming through the youth academy and eventually making his debut for the club in November 2020.

Since making his debut for the club, he has made 52 appearances for the club scoring 13 goals and 16 assists, recording an impressive rate of a goal or assist every 1.8 games.

He has also become a fully-fledged international, earning four caps for Russia since making his debut for his national team in September 2021.

If the Blues can complete a deal for the youngster, he would join the growing contingent of promising youngsters at the club.

Zakharyan has shown potential in the Russian League and time will tell if he can transfer his promising form to England.
