Endrick has verbal agreement with Real Madrid, Chelsea still pushing - report
Brazilian starlet Endrick has a verbal agreement with Real Madrid about a £52.5m deal in 2024, but Chelsea are still pushing to convince him to join the club.
16 year old Endrick is the hottest prospect in football right now after breaking on to the scene with Palmeiras and becoming their youngest ever player and goalscorer this season, attracting interest from the likes of Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
But according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, despite a strong push from the London club it is the Spanish giants who lead the way on a potential mind-spinning deal for the summer of 2024 when he is able to leave Brazil for Europe.
“On the file of the Brazilian nugget Endrick (16 years, Palmeiras), it is the Real Madrid who is today in pole position, a verbal agreement having already been mentioned,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account (13 November).
“Competition of Chelsea and PSG for a transfer of €60M (£52.5m) in 2024.”

There is no doubt that Endrick is the next global superstar to come out of the talent factory that is Brazil, and therefore it should be no shock that Real Madrid are at the front of the queue.
The Spanish side have previously had players like Ronaldo and Kaka in their side and currently have the golden boy of the Samba nation in Vinicius Jr and youngster Rodrygo Goes in their squad.
They were also at the front of the queue several years ago when it was Neymar who was coming out of Santos, but they lost out to Barcelona then and are clearly keen to not allow that to happen again.
Chelsea have made a real push to convince Endrick to come to England, hosting him at the training ground and using Thiago Silva to help, but the lure of Real Madrid is likely to be too much.
The pathway at Stamford Bridge has certainly improved in recent years with the likes of Mason Mount, Reece James and Ruben Loftus-Cheek breaking into the first-team on a regular basis, but for a boy from South America the Bernabeu will be his dream and it would take something huge for the Blues to swing him away from that.
