The 19-year-old’s performances helped the club reach the play-off final, a game they narrowly lost to now Premier-League-bound, Nottingham Forest.
He established himself as a dependable and defensively-sound operator, who is composed in possession and efficient in the air.
The teenager is one of Chelsea’s most promising talents and has even earned lucrative comparisons to Chelsea legend John Terry.
Colwill will be hoping the performance against Forest Green is a sign of things to come and hopefully can expect to see more Premier League opportunities in the near future.
