Crystal Palace hopeful of signing Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White - report
Crystal Palace are hopeful of completing a deal to sign Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White this summer, as they look to replace Conor Gallagher according to talkSPORT.
The England Under-21 international spent last season on loan at Sheffield United and scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for the Blades.
That form saw him attract the attention of Everton and Nottingham Forest for a potential £25m move, but it’s Patrick Vieira’s Palace who are most confident of completing a deal for the Wolves academy graduate.
Vieira helped Gallagher to his best season yet while on loan from Chelsea last season and now wants to replace him after he returned to his parent club, with Gibbs-White seen as the ideal target.
Huge chance
Vieira has made it a key element of his recruitment process at Selhurst Park since arriving to target young players ready to break into the first-team and with something to prove.

Gibbs-White fits that mould and is technically secure enough to command a place in the side immediately.
He is fast, strong, great on the ball and provides a goal threat from either a number ten position or a slightly deeper role as a number eight.
The 22-year-old is also a leader and would fit in perfectly with the talented squad at Selhurst shall he opt to go there over Goodison Park or The City Ground.
Wolves could probably do with him in their side themselves, but needs must and £25m is a lot of money which looks like it will be enough to convince them to sell.
The player will have the chance to make himself a household name in the Premier League this season, but where that will happen remains to be seen. It seems as though south London could be his new home though.
