Dortmund superstar Bellingham greets screaming fans in Birmingham

Borrusia Dortmund’s British wonderkid Jude Bellingham was seen greeting ecstatic fans in Birmingham in a viral TikTok video.

Bellingham, who hails from the West Midlands, took pictures with ecstatic school kids with one part of the video labeling him “the best baller to come out of Brum”.

The 19-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on 29 June, was featured in the viral TikTok video and had no problem giving up some of his pre-season holiday time to say hello to some of the younger members of his local community.

The video went viral especially on TikTok and Instagram and had hundreds of comments from other football fans revealing their jealousy about not being able to meet the midfield dynamo that day.

Star in the making

The reaction of the schoolkids in the video is a testament to how far Bellingham has come and the star he is now in the modern game.

From a skinny kid from Birmingham’s academy to making waves in the first team and eventually getting his number retired at the club to now being undisputedly one of the world’s best midfielders and a mainstay for the Dortmund first team and the England national team.

The six-foot-one box-to-box midfielder has football genes in his family, with his father Mark Bellingham, being a prolific goalscorer at non-league.

In addition to this, his 16-year-old younger brother Jobe, has followed a very similar path to him, recently breaking into the Birmingham first-team.

Jobe came on as a late substitute in Birmingham’s FA Cup extra-time loss to Plymouth Argyle on (8 January.)

As things stand, Jude is the star of the show and the name of football fans lips.

Their is a collective clamour and excitement to see how just how high the former Birmingham City academy product can go, and how many records he can break.

At only 19 years old, the boy from Stourbridge has the world at his feet with reports claiming that Real Madrid and Liverpool are set to do battle for signature.
