Sebastian Haller labels England ace Jude Bellingham a 'crazy player'
Sebastian Haller says he has been most impressed by England ace Jude Bellingham since joining Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Haller completed a mega-money move from Ajax to the Bundesliga giants and has been training with his new teammates in pre-season ahead of the new season.
When asked about which of his new colleagues has impressed him the most in those training sessions, it was the 19-year-old midfielder whose name came to mind first.
“I think everyone knows that Jude (Bellingham) is just a crazy player,” Haller said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“With his age and the ability he has on the pitch, everyone knows that he will go far. He will have a great career, if he is still playing like that.”
Generational
Bellingham is a really, really special football player, as can be seen simply by the fact he’s a regular midfielder at one of Europe’s biggest clubs since he was 17.
Birmingham City produced one of the finest young talents of his generation in Bellingham, and it’s clear for anyone who loves the sport to see at this point.
An England regular, constantly performing in the biggest games and on the biggest stages, it’s no surprise that Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in signing him in a £100m deal next summer.
His ability to go box-to-box, retain possession, win the ball back and score goals is unmatched in his position and age range and he could legitimately be a contender to win the Ballon d’Or one day.
Haller may be surprised by the quality and talent levels that Bellingham possesses, but nobody who has watched him regularly over the last two years will be and we can’t wait to see what he goes on to become.
