View: Mykhaylo Mudryk can be game changer for Frank Lampard at Everton

Shakhtar Donetsk starlet Mykhaylo Mudryk is a tantalising talent that is being linked with a move to Everton in January, according to Calciomercato.

The Ukrainian club have long been renowned for creating some of Europe’s most special talents but Mudryk could prove to be the best of the bunch.

However, the report claims that Everton will face stiff competition for the youngster’s signature; Arsenal and Juventus are also in the race.

Due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the country’s top teams have been forced to cash in on their most prized assets, meaning Mudryk would be available on the cheap for £30million. [Football London].

Lampard would be foolish not to make an attempt to sign the 21-year-old, his ceiling is extremely high and under the right coach, he could flourish.

The “Ukrainian Neymar”

Mudryk is often referred to as the “Ukrainian Neymar” in his home country, due to his silky style of play not the Brazilian’s frustrating time-wasting tactics.

Everton’s current dull and slow attacking style would benefit massively from the injection of pace and youthful exuberance the Ukrainian would provide.

It’s not just dribbling prowess that the youngster offers, he’s equally as good at crossing the ball, a nightmare for full-backs to defend against.

And he’s not just all hype, the winger proved in Shakhtar’s Champions League opener that he has the ability to mix it with Europe’s elite.

Lampard must urge the Everton Hierarchy to make a power play for the young talent, he could provide the spark needed to reignite their Premier League season.

Mudryk only has to look at how youngster Anthony Gordon has fared under Lampard, the winger could do much worse than playing for a coach who will always promote the youth.
