Liverpool should look to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund after it was reported he will be available for €120m (£101m) in the summer of 2023.

Reports in Germany from BILD claim the Bundesliga outfit have set their price for the 19-year-old England international, as a host of top European clubs have taken an interest in signing him.

Among those clubs is said to be Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp admitting he likes the player in a recent press conference. And Lowy believes Anfield would be the best fit for the former Birmingham City midfielder, where he would be an upgrade on current options.

“I think Liverpool would probably be a good fit,” he told The Football Wonderkids.

“I think that Bellingham definitely is going to want to go to a team where he can challenge for trophies, but also play regularly and thrive in a box-to-box role. Perhaps the best of both worlds there is Liverpool.

“I think they’re in need of a midfield upgrade in many regards, Bellingham would provide that. He fits into their, what they’re trying to do in terms of a long term project, so yeah I think Liverpool.”

“I don’t think that you have to pay the most to get the best, and considering the fact that Bellingham has played in the Champions League and he’s English and he’s already one of the best young midfielders in football. I don’t think that there is going to be too much concern over that [price].

Bellingham is expected to be part of the England squad in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup later this year, before interest really ramps up next summer for his signature.

In other Liverpool news, the Reds are reportedly behind Chelsea and Manchester United in the race for Bellingham
