Charles De Ketelaere will be ideal signing for Leeds United - View
Leeds United are reportedly keen on signing Charles De Ketelaere from Belgian side Club Brugge this summer.
With Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha set to leave, the Whites will free up some funds which they could use towards roping in the 21-year-old.
According to the Daily Mail, they are set to launch a £26million bid for the attacker and will hope to convince him to move to Elland Road.
He is an attacking midfielder by trade, but can also play as a shadow striker, a loan number nine as well as a right winger.
With Raphinha leaving and Patrick Bamford’s injury woes only worsening, it does make a lot of sense for the club to sign a player who can play in both roles.
At 21, he will only improve and will have plenty of time to adapt to the Premier League and also Jesse Marsch’s system.

He bagged 14 goals and provided six assists in the league last season so he does know where the back of the net is and is also a tremendous passer who’s great at setting up chances for others.
When stats from his six appearances in the 2021/22 Champions League are compared to forwards in Europe’s top five leagues, one can see how exceptionally well he fares.
He ranks in the top five per cent for key passes, progressive passes and passes into the penalty area which tells you that not only is he looking to find the back of the net, but he can also set up things on a plate for the striker.
This means that he could play well with someone like Rodrigo as the two could interchange positions every now and then and we also think that he would supplement Bamford well in the attack.
In other Leeds United news, The Whites, along with Rangers and Celtic are keen on Cardiff City youngster Japhet Matondo.
