Leeds United sensation continues goal-scoring run for England u-19s
Leeds United sensation has had an incredible week for the England under-19s side in terms of his goal-scoring exploits.
He also got his name on the assists tally against Denmark as well and he ended the game with one as well as a solitary goal. [LeedsLive]
This was after he bagged a hat-trick against Georgia as England won 6-0.
Ready for debut
Perkins does not need to do anything more to get Jesse Marsch’s attention and he’s played his way in contention for the first team.
Nobody is advocating for him to break into the playing eleven but he now needs to be on the bench.
Joe Gelhardt has not managed to score goals regularly when he’s given the chance.
Patrick Bamford’s injury record also means that Marsch does need an out-and-out striker that can deliver goals.
Rodrigo did start the season strongly but he also got injured so this opens the door for Perkins and Gelhardt.
We cannot wait to see Perkins making his senior debut for Leeds as he’s already featured for West Ham in Europe so he may be ready for the big games.
Leeds fans will certainly be excited to see Perkins doing so well and Hammers supporters would be regretting the fact that they lost a talent like him.
In other Leeds United news, Joe Gelhardt could have a breakthrough season this year.
