Thomas Frank gushes over Leeds United ace Brenden Aaronson
Thomas Frank was pleased with the performance of Leeds United attacker Brenden Aaronson as Brentford beat them 5-2 on Saturday.
The Bees admired the way the Whites played, but specifically waxed lyrical over the 21-year-old who moved to Elland Road in the summer.
The United States international was linked with a move to Leeds under Marcelo Bielsa as well, but once Premier League safety was sealed, he finally completed his move.
The Yorkshire Evening Post quoted Frank as saying “I think they’re really good.
“With a narrow front four combining and tricky players, good players. Aaronson – what a player, what a player, that’s a top buy for Leeds. So I think we defended that a little bit bad, but also credit to Leeds.”

The 21-year-old has hit the ground running in the Premier League and has already become one of the first names on the team sheet.
Not only is he good at scoring and setting up chances for others, but he’s often the player who’s been leading the press for Jesse Marsch’s side.
He is the perfect player to feature as an inside right forward or even a number 10 and Marsch certainly is playing to his strengths.
We cannot wait to see how he features in the coming weeks and months and it does seem like they’ve got some talent on their hands.
Hopefully, Leeds can develop him into a player who would surpass Raphinha’s valuation and become their record sale.
There’s no denying that there will be teams wanting to secure his services as early as next summer if he keeps performing the way he has over the last few weeks.
