Tottenham and Leeds United want to sign Derby County attacker Malcolm Ebiowei - report

Tottenham and Leeds United reportedly want to sign 18-year-old Derby County attacker Malcolm Ebiowei.

According to the Sun, he is unlikely to stay at Derby next season with his current deal expiring this month.

Given the club’s financial situation, they are also unlikely to be able to hand him a new deal.

Also, with relegation, it remains to be seen if he would actually want to stay put at the club.

There’s no surprise that top flight clubs like Leeds and Spurs want to secure his services this summer.

Apart from them, even RB Leipzig and Crystal Palace are monitoring him and could look to initiate contact if they want to sign him.

He seems destined to play in the top flight next season and it remains to be seen whether it’s in the Premier League or a competition overseas.

It would be a treat to watch him in the best league in the world and the pace and tempo of the English first division will certainly suit him.

The teenager has also spent some time North of the border at Rangers and that too would have been a tremendous learning experience for him.

Currently, he seems to have plenty of options to pick from and it remains to be seen where he ends up moving.

In other Tottenham Hotspur news, midfielder Oliver Skipp is ruled out for the rest of the season.
