Leicester defender Wesley Fofana agrees personal terms with Chelsea - Fabrizio Romano

Leicester defender Wesley Fofoana has agreed personal terms with Chelsea ahead of a transfer to the London club, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Fofana, 21, has been the subject of transfer interest with the Blues having several bids already rejected for the French centre-back.

However, Romano has now revealed that the defender has already personal terms with the club and is now waiting for the two clubs to agree on a transfer fee.

Fofana saga rages on

The links between Fofana, which have raged on for the last few weeks, continue to gather pace with no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

The former Saint-Etienne man is clearly trying to push for a move however, his club is clearly reluctant to grant a transfer with their current predicament.

In addition to trying to keep Fofana, the club has had to fend off interest for midfielder James Maddison with the midfielder attracting the interest of Newcastle. [Mirror]

Like Maddison, Fofana is one of the club’s most important players and key assets, and the Foxes are trying to keep hold of the duo.

However, if Fofana’s camp continues to push for a move, the Foxes may have no choice but to reduce their demands and allow the 21-year-old to leave the club.

In other Leicester news, the club are more likely to sell Fofana than Maddison.
