Liverpool duo Stefan Bajcetic and Bobby Clark make Premier League debuts

Liverpool duo Stefan Bajcetic and Bobby Clark made their Premier League debuts during the Reds’ demolition of Bournemouth on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp’s team absolutely dismantled the Cherries at Anfield running out 9-0 victors on a momentous afternoon in Merseyside.

However, it was also a special Saturday afternoon for the teenage duo as Bajcetic and Clark, who are both aged 17, came on as second-half substitutes.

Premier League debuts

Saturday afternoon was a great moment for the teenage duo, who have both worked hard in the youth academy to get to this opportunity.

Clark, a talented and versatile forward, joined the club from Newcastle in 2021 and signed his first professional contract with the club in February 2022.

Bajcetic, a teenage defender who can also be deployed in midfield, joined the club from Celta Vigo in February 2021, and starred for the club in pre-season.

Hopes are high for both players as they both have huge potential and are two of the highest-rated youngsters in the Liverpool youth academy.

Harvey Elliot and Fabio Carvalho also both scored against Bournemouth and the duo will be looking to emulate the success of the duo in the first-team.

Clark replaced Trent Alexadner-Arnold who graduated from the Liverpool youth team and is now one of the best defenders in world football.

He set a new benchmark for the ceiling of Liverpool youngsters and there is no doubt the duo will try to replicate if not better his success.
