View: Liverpool have a diamond potentially coming in Fabio Carvalho
Liverpool have a wealth of attacking talent in their side but that hasn’t stopped Jurgen Klopp from trying to add even more to his armoury.
The latest rumoured arrival at Anfield is 19-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder Fabio Carvalho who is having a sensational debut year in the Championship with Fulham.
He has spearheaded the Cottagers’ promotion push with 10 goals and eight assists to his name and has become one of the most hotly-rated players outside of the Premier League.
Fabrizio Romano reported in April that Carvalho is likely to head to Liverpool this summer to provide support to the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz as well as being capable of playing in midfield.
And when you look at how good he is at getting into the right areas to score, you would think he’ll fit right in on Merseyside.
In Fulham’s 6-2 win at home to Birmingham City, the 19-year-old was at his very best, scoring early on with a very well-taken header.

It wasn’t the finishing touch that really stood out though as his ability to ghost into an area completely unmarked which is something the likes of Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino have already mastered at Anfield.
He can do it with his feet too as he proved in the second half against the Blues with a cracking strike from the edge of the area.
Again, he wiggled his way into the position to shoot like a mini Lionel Messi and given the time and the confidence, he will cause defenders some serious issues in the Premier League.
His most impressive attribute though is unquestionably his determination and nothing proved that more than his goal against Preston earlier this season.
He started his run into the box from near the centre circle and he was comfortably behind his opposite number in green and yellow.
As the ball was played into the area though, the Portuguese teenager was there to get on the end of it while the man who was marking him was left gasping for air.
Not only did he get to the cross in, but he put it into the net as well to show his simply unreal ability and he could be the diamond that keeps Liverpool at the top for years to come.
In other Liverpool news, they are confident of signing Calvin Ramsay from Aberdeen in a £3million deal.
