Man United wonderkid Garnacho pictured with mentor Ronaldo in training
Manchester United wonderkid Alejandro Garnacho has been pictured with Cristiano Ronaldo in training.
The teenager burst onto the scene last season with his performances in the youth academy and made his first-team debut in a home draw against Chelsea.
He has now been pictured alongside legendary striker Ronaldo, who has seemingly adopted a mentor role for many of the United youngsters. [MEN]
Manchester Evening News’s Issac Johnson said: “Alejandro Garnacho posted on Instagram about his excitement of having played alongside his idol on Sunday this week.
“After an appearance-less tour, the 18-year-old impressed in the friendly against Vallecano.
“He was spotted walking alongside Ronaldo out onto the training ground – another surreal moment for the teenager.”

The hype surrounding Alejandro Garnacho is starting to pick up speed, with many football fans starting to become aware of the youngster’s supreme talent.
The 18-year-old is one of the most promising players to come out of the Man United youth academy in years, and has done his stock no harm with his impressive pre-season performances.
Garnacho, who was born in Spain but represents Argentina at youth level, had his best season to date last term, scoring 15 goals and providing six assists in 33 youth games last season.
The former Atletico Madrid winger also featured in United’s youth cup final, and scored a penalty that sealed the win for the Red Devils.
With Ronaldo being his idol, it was no surprise that the wonderkid raced towards the corner flag and celebrated in typical CR7 fashion, copying the Portuguese frontman’s legendary ‘siu’ stance.
His recent performance against Rayo Vallecano was equally impressive, with some Man United fans comparing the youngster to Real Madrid winger, Eden Hazard.
These recent pictures hint at further first team opportunities for Garnacho, so be ready to see more and more of the teenager this season.
