Manchester United and Leeds United in race to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara

Manchester United and Leeds United are reportedly in the race to sign Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara.

According to LeedsLive, the 23-year-old is set to leave the French club this summer on the expiration of his current contract,

This means that he will be available for free and any foreign side can now negotiate terms and get him to sign a pre-contract agreement as soon as possible.

Bar these two clubs, Newcastle and Aston Villa have also registered their interest in signing the French midfielder.

Kamara is a midfielder who likes having the ball at his feet and is an expert at drawing opponents into a tackle.

His silky footwork then sees him beating them and he’s quick to play the pass forward so as to progress the passage of play for his side.

He’s also exceptional at winning back the ball in the middle third of the pitch which makes him a complete midfielder.

While he does not have goals to his game just yet, that’s surely something he can add as time progresses.

There’s a reason why a number of clubs are vying for his services and he would undoubtedly be a great fit in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen whether any of the aforementioned sides are quite willing to take the punt on him or whether they will wait and see how things progress before making a move.
