Manchester United consider transfer swoop for Norwich defender Max Aarons - report
Manchester United are weighing up a transfer swoop in January for Norwich defender Max Aarons, according to The Sun.
Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag is keen on bringing in another right-back to the club to rival Diogo Dalot for a starting spot.
The report suggests United have been long-time admirers of Aarons and scouted the youngster during an England Under-21s victory over Germany at Bramall Lane in September.
Aarons is reportedly valued at around £10million, and is one of a number of players on Manchester United’s transfer wish list.
The youngster could be seen as the potential replacement for out-of-favour right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka who doesn’t seem to be in Ten Hag’s plans.
Makes sense.

A Manchester United move for Aarons makes a lot of sense, he would add to the team’s homegrown talents list and is available on the cheap.
He would, however, be playing second-fiddle to Dalot in United’s starting XI, the right-back is currently on fire for the Red Devils.
Nevertheless, the glitz and glamour that comes along with playing for a Premier League juggernaut may be the potion to lure Aarons away from Norwich.
Aarons has made 19 appearances for fifth-placed Championship outfit Norwich this season and has impressed thoroughly throughout the campaign.
The right-back was subject to interest from Germany in the summer, Norwich rejected a loan bid with the option to buy from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Carrow Road team were also said to have rejected an offer from Serie A pair Atalanta and Monza.
Norwich may likely keep the same stance this January with United, they obviously rate the defender highly if their summer rejections are anything to go by.
