Dejan Kulusevski returns to Spurs training but not available v Eintracht Frankfurt
Dejan Kulusevski has returned to training for Spurs but Antonio Conte has confirmed he will not be fit for the Champions League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 22-year-old is the side’s most creative player and has kept Son and Richarlison out of the starting eleven on occasion.
However, he has missed the last few games, but does not seem to be far away from his return.
The Evening Standard journalist Dan Kilpatrick quoted the Tottenham boss on Twitter, “Conte says Kulusevski is not available vs Frankfurt tomorrow, despite training this morning. Lucas Moura is available & will be on the bench after three sessions with the squad.”
Quality player
Conte’s side has been criticised for not creating enough in these last few weeks and that could be down to Kulusevski.
Usually, the Italian’s side has creativity in midfield as well as from the wing-backs but that hasn’t happened for Spurs.
Once the left-footed maestro returns to action, we’re expecting to see a much more dynamic Spurs side on the front foot.
How Conte makes room for him, remains to be seen but on current form, Richarlison has to be the one to step aside.
Harry Kane starts in every game while Son has recently been showing promise and even bagged a hat-trick against Leicester a few weeks ago.
They do have two important games after the Champions League clash against Everton and Manchester United and they have to win those if they are serious about finishing in the top four this season.
In other Spurs news, youngster Dane Scarlett could use his loan to Portsmouth to launch his career.
