Rangers announce signing of teenage Partick Thistle starlet Cameron Cooper
Rangers have completed the signing of Partick Thistle youngster Cameron Cooper, the Scottish Cup champions have confirmed.
The youngster has attracted attention from English Premier League clubs, including West Ham United [Scottish Sun], but it is the Gers that have secured his services.
Cooper will now move into Cameron Campbell and Stevie Smith’s Under-18s group for the 2022/23 season.

Rangers have got themselves a talent in Cooper.
He has been described as a versatile forward with a bright future.

He had been part of the Partick Thistle academy for almost a decade and impressed during the under-17 championship with the Scottish national team.
He is one of 11 players to join Rangers’ under-18 academy this summer and there will be lot of excitement what he can produce.
The Gers have a number of exciting young talents already in the first team with the likes of Calvin Bassey and Ianis Hagi becoming important members of the first team squad.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be hoping some of the exciting talents can grow and continue to learn their trade in the youth academy and eventually make the jump to first team.
Especially with 12 of the Rangers first team currently over the age of 28, incorporating more young players into the team will be an objective for the Gers as they try and reclaim the Scottish title.
