Nottingham Forest agree Morgan Gibbs-White deal - David Ornstein
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Wolves to sign highly-rated midfield Morgan Gibbs-White, according to David Ornstein.
The 22-year-old has been in high demand this summer with Forest making several attempts to sign the England youth international.
However, Ornstein has now reported the two clubs have agreed on a blockbuster deal to bring in the marauding midfielder concluding one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.
Huge deal for Forest
Gibbs-White has been one of England’s most promising young players for a while now, making 35 appearances for their various youth teams, and being rewarded for his performances with a Premier League debut in 2018 against Everton as a late substitute.
The midfielder, who came through the Wolves academy, has always been a top talent and was part of the famous England under-17 World Cup winning team in 2017.
The 22-year-old from Stafford is only 14 outings shy of making 100 appearances for Wolves, but last season he gave a preview as to what his ceiling truly could be during an impressive season-long loan at Sheffield United.
The dynamic midfielder was one of the Blades’ stand-out performers last season, with his midfield domination and late runs into the box a huge hit at Bramall Lane.
After first breaking onto the scene when he was 16 a club has finally realised his talent and at the CIty Ground, he now has finally broadcast his name into the football world.
High-spending Nottingham Forest have had a fantastic window so far, but the signing of Gibbs-White may be the best deal yet.
In other Nottingham Forest news, the club may have found the perfect replacement for Neco Williams.
