Rangers: Juan Alegria can be the next Alfredo Morelos once he finally leaves Ibrox

Alfredo Morelos arrived at Rangers in 2017 and it seems as if every transfer window since then, he has been linked with a move away from Ibrox.
With the Colombian performing well in Europe yet again this season, it wouldn’t be beyond the realms of possibility to assume that Rangers will receive a few more offers for him in the summer.
A possible replacement for Morelos could be Juan Alegria, who has a lot of the same characteristics.
Alegria also hails from Colombia and plays as a striker, with the same bullish strength and powerful running style as Morelos in the final third.
After signing the 19-year-old last summer from Finnish side FC Honka, Rangers have since sent Alegria on loan to Partick Thistle, giving him a chance to learn his trade in Scottish football.
The Scottish Championship is a league known for its physicality, so it will be a good indicator to see if Alegria can make it in the Premiership further down the line.
Alegria likes to get his head down, run with the ball and use his pace to beat defenders, traits that clearly impress Giovanni Van Bronckhorst, who constantly includes Ryan Kent and Fashion Sakala in his matchday squads, players that also display a direct dribbling approach.
Unfortunately for Rangers supporters, Morelos isn’t going to be at Ibrox forever and with his
contract ending in the summer of 2023, it is possible that this summer could be the time he finally departs the club.
He could bring anything up to £15million or more into the club with his exit, something Rangers would surely find hard to turn down.
Instead of spending this money on another striker, Alegria could be the man to take the reins and Morelos could pass the baton to another young Colombian prodigy – time will tell.
