View: Southampton youngsters impress in comeback v Leeds United
Southampton came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Leeds United on Saturday with their youngsters on top form during the match at St Mary’s.
Two goals from Leeds forward Rodrigo put the Whites ahead but a calm finish from Joe Aribo and an equaliser from Kyle Walker-Peters.
New signings Gavin Bazunu, Armel Bella-Kotchap and Romeo Lavia started the game with Sekou Mara coming on as a second-half substitute.
Southampton Youngsters
Southampton had a clear approach for this transfer window focusing on younger players with high potential and possible sell-on value and these youngsters were on show against Leeds.
Bella-Kotchap made his debut for the Saints starting at centre-back and had an impressive game, having the fifth most touches, making four interceptions and making four clearances. [WhoScored]

Mara, whose performances drew praise from Match of the Day pundit Micah Richards, was also impressive during his cameo against the Yorkshire club.
The 20-year-old forward excited fans with some promising dribbles but his assist for Walker-Peters got Saints fans off their feet.
The Frenchman skillfully pirouetted past a challenge, drove into centre field, and then played a precise through ball into the full-back who finished smartly.
It was a good showing from Southampton’s youngsters and Saints fans will be hoping it is the first of many promising performances from their young stars.
