View: Nottingham Forest must build team around Brennan Johnson for many years
Nottingham Forest have been one of the big spenders in the recently concluded transfer window where they signed more than 20 players to strengthen their squad.
In such a window, it is easy to forget some of the talents that are already at the club because of the arrival of so many new names.
However, one name that is still attracting a lot of interest is young attacker Brennan Johnson who has started for Forest in every match of the Premier League campaign so far.
One for the future
There are not many Welsh forwards who are often talked about in the Premier League. Historically there has been only Gareth Bale who was termed as a generational talent and he eventually ended up making a move to Real Madrid.
While not many claims that Johnson belongs to the same level yet, he clearly has something very special about him which makes him an ideal prospect to have in your team.

The 20-year-old has been instrumental ever since he has been promoted by Forest to the senior team in the summer of 2019.
Since then, he has represented his current club in 67 matches across all competitions, scoring 21 times and providing nine assists in the process [Transfermarkt].
Those numbers are extremely impressive considering his age and the team he has played with. His blistering pace along with the ability to understand that there is a chance to capitalise on is something very unique and despite signing a host of players, Forest should try and build the team around Johnson for many more years to come.
