Wolves reject £20m Everton bid for Morgan Gibbs-White - report
Wolves have rejected a bid of £20m from Everton for midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to reliable journalist John Percy of The Telegraph.
The Toffees are keen to bolster their squad this summer and Frank Lampard has identified the 22-year-old attacking midfielder as a top priority transfer for the club.
But Wolves are looking for a fee of closer to £30m to part ways with their academy ace, who they have offered a new contract and see as a big part of the first-team this season.
There is also interest in the England Under-21 ace from Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, but the club are said to be relaxed about his future as it stands.
It’s unclear if Everton will return with a new bid for the midfielder, although he is a priority target for them.

Wolves have had a pretty quiet transfer window so far, but all the talk seems to be on Gibbs-White and rightly so at this point.
A hugely talented young player, he enjoyed a fantastic loan spell in the Championship last season with Sheffield United and helped them to reach the playoffs – where his penalty miss cost them a place in the final.
But he has shown a great improvement in his play and he is clearly ready for a step up in level and to feature heavily in the Premier League.
It seems plenty of teams have taken notice of that, including Wolves, and it’s now up to the player to decide where is best for him to continue developing and learning.
As it stands Wolves is the right place to be, but a big chunk of cash could quickly change that plan for them if they want to invest in other areas of the squad and not be any weaker than they were last season in terms of first-team options.
